Zaridi School is founded on a strong conviction of equality and diversity in all that we do. We at all times work towards eliminating discrimination and practicing equality of opportunity for each and every one participating in the admissions process and within the school community at large.

We are devoted to equal treatment for all, regardless of a child’s religion, race, disability, cultural background or gender and no preference is given to a particular parental occupation. The board at Zaridi School encourages admission of children from a diverse range of backgrounds as possible.

Zaridi School does not in any way or form discriminate the entry of children with learning difficulties. We are however careful to ensure a thorough evaluation of the needs of the child is made in relation to the amenities available at our school. The Principal shall discuss in detail all requirements of children with special educational needs or physical disabilities with their parents/guardians to ensure the child, if taken in, will receive the best possible care. To ascertain a smooth process, the parents/guardians must provide a full disclosure and any relevant information regarding the medical history of the child to the best of their knowledge.

As of now, Zaridi School unfortunately does not have an existing English as a Second Language (ESL) Department but we have no restrictions with admission of children whose English is not their first language. However, we are committed to come up with solutions through offering guidance on Learning Mentors and ESL tutors who are experienced to offer side-classes either within the Zaridi School’s schedule or outside school hours.

At Zaridi School we allow overseas children as long as they have a fitting parent/guardian available in Nairobi, Kenya. Taking into consideration the set academic and social demands of our school, it would be best if such overseas applicants are fluent and conversant with English or have been educated in the English medium for 6-12 months before joining Zaridi School. Where this is not the case, consideration for entry is on an individual basis and may include tuition on English as an Additional Language arranged at the parent’s expense. On immigration matters, it shall be the parent’s/guardian’s responsibility to ensure the child/ren possesses all necessary requirements to live and study in Kenya.
